Hi, my name is Amy and I am an AWFUL blogger! Can I just blame it on planning a wedding?! Ha, probably not since I was never really any good at it to begin with. My apologies to all of the fans out there who anxiously await the arrival of new blogs from me (loots of sarcasm there :-p)
Ok, so we're SEVENTEEN days from the "big day" I am so terribly excited, anxious, nervous and I want to throw up all at the same time. I think I'm more nervous/anxious about how everything is going to turn out. I've never done any kind of planning like this before-and it's a lot. I just hope everything flows well! I can't believe it is finally here-this time last year I had NO idea what was in store for a year ahead. If you had told me this time last year I would be counting down days until I got married, I probably wouldn't have believed you. But here we are. Down to the nitty-gritty and about to get this show on the road.
We have had shower, after shower, after shower and were blessed more than I could have ever imagined. I never knew the love and support of friends of family until now. I think total, we had 8 showers. I have never been more blown away-and not by the actual gifts-but by the amount of support we have been shown. Everyone is so excited for us! It is such a wonderful feeling going to bed at night, knowing how many people are out there who are just as excited as you are. Thank you for all of you who read this and have shown your support for us!
I don't think I have anything I actually wanted to say on here, just mainly wanted folks to know that I'm alive and that I still know how to blog ;) Hope everyone has an exciting Labor Day weekend- we get to paint! Yiipie! Come join if you would like!
